Easter snow

Well this is about as close to growing things that we have in our yard. Someday this will be an Iris.
This is our front rock garden (yup just rocks). Try to imagine it covered in bright blue Scilla.
Under this snow in our back yard is a small patch of lawn, and just in front of the shed there will be Daffodils and a Climatis.

On the right side of thie picture is a raised bed that actually has stuff blooming most of the summer.

So far all we can do is hope. There is still more snow in the forcast for this week.

Look on the bright side - you don't have to mow your lawn yet (like we do). :)

Yes, we do less mowing, but I'll wager we do a heck of a lot more shovelling than you do!

We're ready for an update. By now there is sure to be something amazing happening in those flowerbeds! We planted our garden yesterday, and ... sure hope it doesn't freeze anymore!
