In Ireland

This is Dingle harbour, in the southwest corner of Ireland. A tiny town with gorgeous scenery and picturesque boats.
Dingle's main street. I kept looking for a yarn shop but only found shops selling wool sweaters.
These thatch-roofed cottages are in Adare, the so-called prettiest village in Ireland. Amazingly to me, thatch is still used as roofing fairly frequently. It only lasts about 7 years before it needs to be replaced, but some people like it. It definitely ups the "cute" factor.
In Limerick we attended an evening of Irish pub music, which was so well done! Amazing singing, dancing, story-telling...great entertainment and a lovely traditional Irish dinner. We discovered that traditional Irish dinners always include a choice of Irish stew or salmon and potatoes. We sampled both more than once.
Across the street from our hotel in Limerick we discovered this tiny kiosk of Tim Horton's inside a large convenience store. The Canadians in our group got pretty excited and patriotic at the sight of it! I must say, though, Gord & I didn't try their coffee.
Some amazingly energetic street musicians. I don't know how they managed to stay on those posts for so long.
In Dublin we attended an Irish cabaret night: dinner and entertainment. It was obviously designed for tourists, as there were at least 10 tour buses in the parking lot. But it was an enjoyable evening.
Some ruins of a monastery in Glendaloch, Ireland. The stone walls are enduring, but the thatch roofs have long since rotted away.
Another pic of the beautiful Irish countryside.

It's good to see your pictures. So much to take in, learn, taste. You packed a lot into your time there. Looks like a great trip indeed.
