Silver Lake Mennonite Camp
In August, we spent a week volunteering at camp. Bev sewed aprons and cooks' hats and helped in the kitchen, while Gord did maintenance work, began a new garden, and other duties. Hannah began the week as a volunteer but was asked to fill in for a counselor who had to leave. So this is Hannah with some of her campers, and her co-counselor.
Gord dressed up as a tree for the Banquet, whose theme was the Enchanted Forest. The kids said volunteers hardly ever dressed up, so they were impressed. Aren't you???
Erika participating in a skit for the campers.
One of the new traditions this year is for all the staff to sing "God be with you till we meet again" at the end of each camp.

Absolu-tree fabulous!
(it took us a long time to think of that...)
And yes, as Mom alluded to, Gord does look remarkably like Dad in some of these pictures. Falk genes are strong.
