Snow Fun

It looks like Gord is having trouble with his skis, but he claims to be dancing on the snow. Do you believe him?
These first two pictures were taken last weekend - we have had enough snow that we were able to go skiing in the ravine not far from our house.

Am I: (a) conducting the beautiful music I hear in my head, (b) adjusting my gloves and pole straps, or (c) rather amused by the spectacle portrayed by Gord above?

Yesterday we joined a church social; our first at Eastminster United! A small group of us spent the day skiing at a venue about 45 minutes away. We knew a couple of people from the choir, and met a few new ones. And the trail conditions were fantastic! I think we'll go back there again.

If you look very hard, you can see Bev very far away by the trees. Note how far in front of me Gord was, in order to take this picture. That pretty much lets you know everything you need to know about our relative speeds.
