What I did on my week off

I had a week off last week so I had some time to play on my lathe. I had seen this idea in a craft shop near us. These pieces are taken from cedar fence rails. The tall ones are dried flower vases and the short ones as you can see are candle holders, and one of them is a candy/nut bowl. Its kind of fun and maybe some day I'll take them to a craft sale and exchange them for some cash.

I guess you could say I had a "lathey" week.
